I've never been there but I hear the riding is decent. I've also heard there is quite a bit of soft sand that you have to drive through to get camped.

I just learned about it on the updated dune map. Never knew you could go past the wilderness area. I read something about taking Ted Kipf road north for 11 miles, but I think that lands you in some hard pack to go through before getting to dunes. If anyone else has some info that'd be awesome. I'm headed to Gordon's tomorrow, might get in the truck and drive up there to do some recon.

Anyone go to Mammoth Wash north of Glamis? Really curious if it's good riding. If anyone could let me know that'd be awesome. Thanks!

You ride this area yet ?

No man, I hadn't gotten around to it. In early september I'm going to Glamis so I'll get in the truck and drive up there for real this time. Really want to check it out. I'm hoping it's as good as some of the videos I've seen suggest... Pics will be posted as soon as I have them.

I went last September and it was low 90's. I'm hoping for that this year. I'm just going Friday to Sunday. If my squadron isn't slammed through the weekend like we have been.
