My bikes a 370lr drag ported with blaster pistons, cool head, lightened fly wheel, 2-5 override etc. Pres. Day weekend it pismo it ran great. Beat 4 mill cubs n 7 mill stock cylinders all day. With me on it. I was running toomey T3s, +6 swing arm, and 22-11-8 medium buff ed 8 paddles. With 12 40 gearing. I spun a lot out of the hole but hooked every time I shifted into 3rd. I launch in second. In the process of buying paddles right now. And I'm going to a +8 no link swinger. And Cpi or shearer in frames. How many paddles should I run? I'm 250lbs. And straight haulers or stags? Do the stags hook better? I won't be doing any duning. Straights or stags ? And how many paddles? 8 ain't enough

I think you better put on the new swingarm and strut the bike first. The strut will transfer power down better than your shock will.

If it already gets traction when you shift gears you may have wheelie issues.

EDIT: Are you strutting the bike or running a Shaw?
