2FastTRX
Do you happen to have a model number for these I know that company has a few different versions of their setups. Do these require an external ballast or is each light totally self contained and meant to be run off the stock stator? Bulbs good? I need lights and these should fit the bill just curious about these things first, thanks!
Coupelx
these arent led or hid. just standard halogens.
2FastTRX
Ah thx for the input, do they use a stock bulb or something else? I have some 35w HID ballasts from my last 4strk around would be nice to adapt a bulb to these... You must rock some trail techs as well, how do you like the projection compared to stock? Coupelx
no they use an mr16 bulb. minor upgrade from stock. i run the small mr11 hid lights from them with the ballast built in. they are pretty bright but require a battery and dc conversion to work. been debating switching to led lights and ditching the battery though. mxturd
Couplx is right, halogen, and a minor upgrade from stock. They are bright though... Nice thing is they just wire in.
bansman76
They mount in stock location ?
mxturd
The mounts they come with would use the upper shock mount bolt, but you have to remove the stock mounting tabs. I bought these for my LTR and decided to go a different way. They are in great shape, have no issues, and come with blue covers
