I am usually the only 2 stroke when I ride so it will be nice hearing some fellow 2 strokers. I had no idea till I reminded the girlfriend of the trip today, needless to say I was reminded my presence is expected at both family dinners . As I'm the only gearhead in either family, no one else understands riding. Being 6 hours away, I'd have to leave at 8am on sunday morning to even try making it back in time. Next time guys, sorry! Easter is Sunday. We're riding Saturday. Bring a friend and drive home Saturday. Trade off drivers. I leave at 4:45AM to get there at the opening. We don't get home till after 11:30. Whitbread Posted April 3, 2014 Report Share Posted April 3, 2014 I'll talk to my buddy and see if he's willing to split driving, my car is kind of a pain to drive with low compression, big turbos, and a really heavy clutch. I'll try to make this still work! I have a friend in Logansport, IN, see if I can crash at his place friday night to break up the drive there at least. And with just 15 days till our ride, my buddy Bill is still working on a little Banshee project he's had since last fall to complete. Luckily he has all the parts nice and clean and ready for install. Unfortunately the next step involves a little product known as case sealer! Hopefully everone else is a little farther along in their spring ride prep efforts. LOL If not......I hope you use this weekend wisely.
