Because front fenders don't actually keep any more mud off of you than running race cut fronts.

With that tidbit of info in mind, you then make choice to cut them giving you a great view of your front tires and the terrian ahead. This lets you see just what your about to hit and when. Also despite tge fenders inability to really keep you clean.....they DO a nice job of collecting mud that wouldn't have hit you. So when your done riding, you can spend all tgat extra time cleaning poubfs of mudd off the underside oh those dumbo ears.

They also are hella wind socks that act like parachutes.

I run full fenders on the rear on my dirt machine and cut rears on my dune bike. But both have cut fronts.

For a trail bike....keep the rears. Those rear tires can throw mud and water up and forward. You could end up with a pretty wet back. LOL

They keep plenty of shit off you if u turn. Guess if u only go straight then u might not notice a diff. I run fills front and rear, in the mtns it keeps mud and rocks from hitting me. Went fender less one time to see if they made a diff.. Sure as shit did. But my bike is stock width and all..

Ive had my Banshee for a little over a week now. It came with race cut fronts. During the test ride I had tons of mud hitting me in the face. I bought some nice used fronts off ebay asap. Still waiting for them to arrive. I dont care for the race cut look at all.
