  1. Standard carbs still running torrs.
  2. I have lubed both the throttle cable and assemly with no joy. It doesn't bother me to much in the summer but now the winter is here I get serious cramp in my hand.
  3. What is the best way to sort out a stiff thumb throttle on the banshee? I don't think it's just a problem with my bike as 4 of my friends have the same issue with there banshee's , I've noticed raptors have a nice free thumb throttle, can I convert mine to raptor or is there a better mod out there?
  4. I've found out what pods are, would the they make the engine breath a lot more then a standard air box with a k&n but no air box lid? As I do ride in wet muddy conditions a lot.

  6. I've fitted toomey t3 pipes to the banshee and fitted 280 main jets , with the air box lid and standard filter fitted it bogs a bit flat out. But if I take the air box lid off it revs a lot more top end, the thing is I don't want to leave the lid off as I do a lot of sand riding what should I do instead? Also will it damage the motor if I run it with the lid and it bogs a bit
  7. So isit the woodruff key that has to be welded? Can this be done with the engine in the bike? I'm guessing if it lets go then the timing advances to much and the engine melts? Also what reads shall I go for, do they make much difference and is a boost bottle a good idea , I never get what it does?
  8. What does a cool head do , raise the compretion? What do you have to weld the crank for? Also what are the tranny mods?

I've just bought some toomey t5s for my completley stock banshee , what engine mods should I go for next I don't want to spend fortunes and I want it to be reliable still, I want to do a couple mods as parts are hard to find in England so I will proble have to get them shipped over from The states.
  10. I'm running a standard box but was going to drill holes in the lid or should I get rid of the lid altogether? I'm 275ft above sea level and its normally around 43 *F I'm running standard jets the main is 240 , should I go up to 260, also should I adjust the needle?
  11. I ride in a lot of mud and water unfortunately so I think I'll need to keep the box. What jet should I start off with on a standard filter.
  12. This maybe a silly question but I'm new to the scene and I would like to no why everyone mainly cuts the front mud gaurds off there banshee and sometime the rears?
  13. I've fitted a set of toomey t5s , to get the best out of them will I need to fit a k&n filter, or will my brand new stock filter and air box be fine with a rejet? The bike is completely standard.
