Just got the green light for Glamis over New Years.

probably get there on Saturday, the 28th and stay till the 2nd.

Awesome glad to hear you can make it out. Just curious why is pad 3 your favorite?

It's flat, easy to find when returning to camp, you can't bury your RV to the axle when parking, it's close to the dunes, centrally located, and probably the biggest reason.... it's single file camping.

Someone might be next to you, but you don't have people riding around or through your camp all night.  Everyone parks parallel to the road or 2 deep max. 

 

I've camped all over and it's been the best to me by far....

Opinions on gecko loop? Both pros & cons.

Pros:  It's not the washes, just off asphalt so an easy drive, sunset drags are close, plenty of shitters.

Cons;  It's not Pad 3, ice cream trucks continuously circle from 7am-10pm with their music, sometimes party central campers next to you, generators 22/7, shitters reek if you're downwind.
