mysterion Posted December 4, 2013 Report Posted December 4, 2013 I have some Fox Floats(no rezzie) that are giving me trouble. When I compress the front end, they barely rebound. The front end just sits there and sags. The shocks do not have that much ride time on them. I have tried pumping them up with more air and no luck. What could be the issue? Thanks for any input. mysterion Posted December 4, 2013 Author Report Posted December 4, 2013 Yes, I suspend the front end with whatever is around. When I pump air into them, every time I go to unscrew the pump, there is a small amount of air that gets out. Is that just the air in the tube? Quote

mysterion Posted December 9, 2013 Author Report Posted December 9, 2013 I tried to pump them up to 100psi but as soon as I stop pumping, the air slowly leaks out and stops around 50 psi. I'm going to call Fox and see what they say. Quote

Factory350 Posted December 28, 2013 Report Posted December 28, 2013 I bought a brand new set a while back will similar issues. Air them up and come back out an hour later to the bike sitting on the ground. Tried more air etc. with no luck. I ended up pulling the shrader (air) valve out and found that the o rings were faulty. Replaced the o rings and haven't had an issue since. It's air and the slightest hole will let them leak. Worth a shot. Hope it helps. Quote
dirtydownunder Posted December 28, 2013 Report Posted December 28, 2013 i ran 65/70 in mine for ages and they were fine. do they drop psi at all when you re check them ? (they drop 2-5psi when re checking due to filling the tube) have you ever done an air sleeve maintenance ? Quote
