rg97 Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 So i bought this banshee about a year ago with a bad engine, fixed it up (392cc now, .060 overbore, 4 mil stroker, PWK's, T5's etc.) and I was told That it had an extended (+2) swingarm and axle. Neither of them have an ID, just wondering if they could be ID'd... I dont know if the shock is stock either. Quote
foxrider603 Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 Not sure on the axle or swingarm but that shock definitely looks stock Quote
NickisGod Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 looks like a lonestar axle. swing arm? who knows, alot of ppl make these. Quote
rg97 Posted November 4, 2013 Author Report Posted November 4, 2013 (edited) Well i searched around on ebay for something that looks remotely like the swinger i have, and There are a few that have the same looking carrier, but none have that bend in the last 6" on the left side of the swinger (last pic) Edited November 4, 2013 by rg97 Quote
special06shee Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 Does it look anything like a DuraBlue axle? yes it kinda looks like a durablue. Take some pics of where the hubs mount on the splines. Quote
NickisGod Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 the durablue axle ive seen has a no splined hubs, they are a pinch design. like so Quote
special06shee Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 this is a durablue x33. The pic above is a durablue Excalibur if i remember correctly. Quote
rg97 Posted November 4, 2013 Author Report Posted November 4, 2013 So Im guessing a +2 excalibur (which they dont make anymore) Quote
special06shee Posted November 4, 2013 Report Posted November 4, 2013 Shit, i just realized i gave the wrong info.. The pic i posted is an eliminator axle. Not an x33. Quote
rg97 Posted November 4, 2013 Author Report Posted November 4, 2013 Soo which durablues have pinch style and which have splines? Ive gotten conflicting info from you guys (Jesse and special) Quote
rg97 Posted November 4, 2013 Author Report Posted November 4, 2013 Thats ok. Soits either a elim +2 or an axcalibur +2. I was really hoping it was a x33 there for a minute Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted November 5, 2013 Report Posted November 5, 2013 Well who ever made that swing arm………that's one ugly piece of engineering. Quote
rg97 Posted November 6, 2013 Author Report Posted November 6, 2013 Well it does its job and Im not going to be offended if someone said that when Im riding. I dont really care for looks, heck it gives the sleeper look if it seems like a pile... Quote
