vin

It's basically in the same spot on a Banshee. Could be thick powder coat, someone shaved it off, aftermarket frame, new factory frame with no Vin punched on it...

you could look at the cdi box and see what numbers are on it to get an idea of what year it might be. then again they could change that out too. same with the engine cases. who cares about the year as long as its a arm frame and runs good and has good compression. it can all be changed out and be brand new if you want it to be

Yea the problem is selling just the frame. If there's no vin the title I have doesn't work. I'm going to sand blast all the paint off and see if that helps. Aftermarket frame? It looks just like a stock one. Does anyone make frames that look just like stock frames? My thought was some one ordered just a frame from yamaha. Is it legal to punch the vin I have on the title if that's the case?
