bobbybog Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 I am looking to get a banshee. I found a local 2006 model that the engine is all stock. It has t6 pipes and new tires. What can I expect to be replacing soon? Bearings seem tight. Engine cold starts on first or second kick. Can you give me some advice? Quote
Zillaguy Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Get ready to drain your savings! LOL You WILL want to go faster guaranteed! And,.... Speed has a price tag...... You won't be disappointed though... Quote
bobbybog Posted August 20, 2013 Author Report Posted August 20, 2013 That is why I am getting it, to go fast. So, what will I have to do possibly soon? Any way to tell if it needs a rebuild soon? It has never had a bolt turned on it since new Quote
James_21 Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Do a compression check on it, change the oil, clean the carbs, get some new gas and change the plugs. Start fresh. Quote
bobbybog Posted August 20, 2013 Author Report Posted August 20, 2013 If it starts on the first kick from complete cold start, is that a good sign for compression? Quote
