My bike was running great and i was always told "if it isnt broke dont fix it"! But!,i had a tors removal kit sitting around and finally decided to put it to use and install went great. Synced the carbs, adjusted idle, and removed unneccesary tors wiring. Test ride after install in my small yard everything seemed great maybe a little better throttle response in first. Went to my track to open it up and i have noticed a slight bog in second and third gear @ lower rpms. Before install even the slightest blip of the throttle it would respond and now it has this mass airflow sound/bog and its not serious but it makes me wonder if its just the kit difference or if i did something wrong! Cleaned carbs very well and still runs and idles great except for this slight hesitation now! Any thoughts or suggestions would be great!

Did you install your slides correctly? Im not too sure if they would throw this symptom at u but its just a thought. Secondly perhaps the carbs are sync'd at idle but cables are not pulling equally, did you try to sync it through out different throttle positions or at idle only?

yes, synced at idle and dont have a clue on how to synce otherwise! Slides are in correctly but not sure they are in the original carb,if that matters? Did notice one carb float sticking till i gave it a tap, guess ill clean em again and check the needles. Middle notch??

Middle notch is a good way to start fine tuning. Clean those carbs. Start guestemating throttle positions and sync using the adjustments you have on your carb caps to ensure cables are equally pulling each slide. Id go in 1/4 throttle increments
