ikikazz Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 ok i have a 1993 banshee i went to coral pink and rode for a while then it had no power i killed it as fast as i could. got a tow back from my dad (who couldnt let it go that i got pulled back by a grizzly). put new plugs in it and bam started right up took it across the flats and ran perfect thought it was fine so my dad jumped on it and i took my xr650 and we went out the first hill he went up did the same thing loss of power. . took it home and havent had time to play with it. started it and idle's perfect can slap it in 1st gear and fine once you get to the top end it has no power even not in gear. does that mean the top end is blown or what please help i would be verry greatful. Sounds like a plugged main jet to me. Try cleaning the carbs thoroughly and use an air compressor to blow it out....Do you still have tors hooked up? Little black box above the left exhaust?? Quote
Wassup350 Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Yea take them carbs off and clean them babys. Clean your air filter too wouldnt hurt. If you dont have one see if you can borrow someoens compresion tester and test the compresion if theres a difference in the compression then you probably need need to rering it. Quote
