return spring in carb cap

well...basically how do you put that return spring back into your carb cap? does it attach to anything? kinda stumped thanks for the help guys

You just compress the spring with your thumb and index finger and hold it against the carb cap while you attach the cable to the slide and pop in the retainer. Different carbs have different retainers.
