Bensshee Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 If i change my crank from a plus 4mm to a plus 10mm do I have to modify my port job or can I just use a different size spacer plate? Also has anyone trenched there own cases for a plus 10mm and how did you do it? Quote
NYUK Posted November 2, 2003 Report Posted November 2, 2003 what your talking about is a radical difference in port timings,i don t think a spacer plate will work.trenching cases is a job for a machinist, not something that can be done in the garage. Quote
Bensshee Posted November 3, 2003 Author Report Posted November 3, 2003 Would the gain in performance be worth all the work and money? Quote
MULLET~BOY Posted November 4, 2003 Report Posted November 4, 2003 yes it would be but depending on how drastic your porting is you might need to start with new cylinders Quote
