midlifecrisis Posted June 26, 2013 Report Share Posted June 26, 2013 So I have taken apart and rebuilt my motor, and for the life of me, I cant find where the small hose, that runs into the brass nipple on top of my Vitos 2 head goes to? Maybe I cut it to replace it, but nothing thats still hanging under the bike seems to reach this area. Small stupid question I know, but its got me puzzled. For that matter, while Im on here, what about the small hose that comes out of the front of the clutch cover (I think its a breather hose), where does it route too as well? toytech Posted June 26, 2013 Report Share Posted June 26, 2013 the hose that goes to the brass nipple on the head comes from the right side of the top radiator tank. the vent hose goes to a tee that is connected to the vent hose coming out of the back of the engine case. The vents for the cases and the clutch cover then, are just both that....vents, as long as theyre routed up high enough, Im sure I can leave them seperate, right?
