BlksnshN Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 Found my first real issue with the bike. Took it out for a quick spin and the left side carb cap popped off and won't screw back on. I don't see any damage on the carb or the cap. Quote
n2otoofast4u Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 Super fine thread, gotta be lined up just right. Make sure you have the slide in the correct way. Quote
BlksnshN Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 Super fine thread, gotta be lined up just right. Make sure you have the slide in the correct way. Cap seems to just slide over the threads on the carb. It has a TORS removal on it and I really have no idea where it came from. Quote
BlksnshN Posted June 17, 2013 Author Report Posted June 17, 2013 You have no idea what came from? The TORS removal kit. Quote
2strokeshees Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 If the cap slides on an off without grabbing anything your threads are f*****. Unless its the wrong cap but I have never seen that or heard of it. As far as oil, I use Bel-Ray 80w in all my 2strokes. Great stuff. Quote
BlksnshN Posted July 8, 2013 Author Report Posted July 8, 2013 Just ordered some Bel Ray Gear Saver oil. Clutch seems to stick the first time I put it in gear with the Valvoline 10w 40 wet clutch oil. Lesson learned. Quote
Nutwood 472 Posted April 3, 2014 Report Posted April 3, 2014 I run gear saver 80w for tranny...i like the good stuff lol Quote
