Hey everyone,

So I just picked up a 99 Banshee with the following mods:

FMF Turbine 2 exhaust

2 to 1 foam filter with air box lid off

Cool Head domes

Motor bored 5 over

OKO carbs 30 MM

TORS Removal

Currently running b8es plugs

I noticed the banshee had low power after 1st and second gear.  Everytime I shifted it sounded like it was still in the same gear but did speed up.  It feels slower than my stock banshee which is an 04.  I pulled the plugs and they are wet at hell.  My current jet setup is a 155 main, 48 pilot, and middle clip on the needle jet.  I was wondering what jets I should be running or if there is a different option to help lean the bike out.  The guy i bought it from said that there is only about 2 tanks of fuel that have been run on the bike since the rebuild so idk if this is normal since I have never had to have any previous bikes bored out.  Thanks to anyone who has any input and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

oko's are hit n miss carbs.

155 sounds pretty fat on a stock port. try some 145's. or even get some stock carbs and run them.

whats your elevation there ?

what needles are in there ?

what compression is it kicking ?

ok i may try some small jets first and maybe play with the needle...if i got stock carbs what setup should i run as far as main and pilot jet size? and needle clip position?

for stock carbs,  try needle clip in middle position with mains at 260 and pilots at 27.5. (25 pilots (stock) could be ok too)   that will be starting a bit rich, as you are high up in altitude. try air screw at 1.5-2 turns out.

if its not ported and stock compression... if u got stock carbs... needle middle clip, 27.5 pilot, and about 310 main should be close
