thomas h. Posted May 23, 2013 Report Posted May 23, 2013 I ride at glamis. The chain could start out in perfect adjustment but by the end of day 2 it will be loose. With this chain device the chain rides deeper on your sprockets and controls some of the extra whipping around of the chain. So if the chain is deeper on the sprockets then the teeth of your sprockets last longer because the thinner side of the teeth don't have to get used as often. And if you don't want to adjust your chain because you have to remove a link in the desert this will allow you the keep riding on a looser chain and it won't come off and wack your case. Quote
