h20dies Posted March 31, 2013 Report Share Posted March 31, 2013 So banshee been running hot ever since overheated her and coolant started busting out... but now I' m also running a different type of oil.. What coolant.. do I have to buy special for atvs is there problems with banshee water pump? And can I use 50/50 car? ClayAiken Posted March 31, 2013 Report Share Posted March 31, 2013 I've been pushing coolant since i have been running lucas. Im switching over to klotz or amsoil dominator. OT: 50/50 works fine and with the water pump you can break fins on the impeller causing poor circulation and the plastic gear that runs the impeller can strip out and you wont be turning the impeller to full capacity.
