Elka front shocks, anybody know why the difference?

I have 2 front set of Elka shocks, I bought them like stage 3, both set, but the bodies are different. Anybody know why they could be different? maybe the year they were made,different model,etc.

 

Anyway I just want to figure which one will be the best to own, then I can sell the other set. Maybe this won't make a difference but I want to be sure.

if I decide to get them sold, I'll let you know, I have 2 bike I'm still not sure if use a set in the other bike.

Ever find out anything on these Elka's? Is a set of them for sale?

I like the bigger set. It could just be my Un educated guess though. I would assume it is a bit beefier and more adapted to heavy abuse. It does look like they are a little older though.

Normally I'd say call Matt, but he's swamped. Maybe try elka....
