Im gonna be running a PD on my .40 over stock cylinders. Gonna run 19 cc domes and advanced timing plate. Im pretty sure u could get away with 93 octane on on 19's from what I have heard but I think I will run 110 in it just in case. Port only if you want. If your running stock carbs I would recommend on going with a set of PWK's. Can make a difference

On his motor ( he stated unported and didnt want to port) itll make NO difference in power. Only difference it'll make is lightening his wallet .

Where do you guys come up with this stuff? Do you all ride many different combos,,or just regurgitate unsubstantiated  info you've heard somewhere ?

first of all he asked what domes... i just said what i was gonna run. heard plenty of people run 93 octane on 19's.  i didnt say he had to port. only stated if he WANTED to. im learning as we speak, im new to them aswell. it is his motor and can do as he pleases. he just asked what size domes and if he "had"  to port. so can u not run 93 octane on 19's?  whats the difference in "milled" and cool head?

I was referring to your comment " If your running stock carbs I would recommend on going with a set of PWK's. Can make a difference".

On a stock-ish motor its NOT going to make a difference in power.  Are they better? maybe. "make a difference"? nah

They regurgitate what they have been told. Just like when to run race gas aand when not to. TThe amount of incorrect money wasting info is unreal.

Mill the stock head .020. It can be done for less than 50 bucks. Enjoy not wasting money.

Yea. Just trying to help the OP not make the same mistakes we did,eh?  New PWKs are nice,,but on a stock-ish motor that 350.00 would be better spent toward a welded crank and/or other maintenance issues,,or put something with it and get it ported if you are after more power. Or how about better shocks,,all places that that 350.00 should 1st be spent before a set of carbs.

everyone is replying this and that.. all i want to know is can I & will it make a diff if i got a pro head and 17cc domes? and put it on my stock motor or do i have to port  my cylinders to install that item on my application?

p.s: in the dubai we have 95 octane and 98 super type of gas, we use the 95 on motorcycle's and v6's and 98's on v8's

OH another thing WHAT IT THE BEST RATIO FOR MIXING OIL AND GAS ( IN LITERS )

e.g: (for every 15 liters of gas you should use 8 liters of oil )
