That happened to me also JUNK cast pistons...them skirts dont like high rpm fo very long. Have the motor ported and use weisco prolite pistons and forget about that happening again just be sure not to lean the motor out.

I have had zero bad dealings with hjr( ported my cylinders), Jeff at fast tried to help me diag a clutch issue for a few days when I bought a few parts from him, Cam at redline just bored my girlfriends cylinders and I actually just got them back yesterday.
