resistor caps / resistor plugs

I changed the caps before with new NGK units on my quad

and run B8ES NGK plugs

but seems like alot of guys out here are always having problems with caps

 

would I be better off switching to a non-resistance plug cap (boot)

and run BRES plugs since they get changed regularly anyways ?

 

hate to shorten up my plug wires anymore due to changing caps

i run br8es with 5k ohm caps, most do.

 

 

old caps give probs, once you get new ones, they should last a while. a tuned bike wont go through plugs.

I've been changing setups around on the quad , so I was playing with jetting for awhile

but yeah I'm not fouling plugs or anything like that

like andy said....a lot of people run br8es plugs.  My buddy and myself both run the resisted plugs with the resisted caps and have no had a problem..

I'm going away from the hard plastic 5k cap and going to the rubber style plug boot. The cap just have given me a range of issues from breaking off the tip of plug to clip malfunction.

So I think a ct clamp or safety wire to help avoid issues.
