James_21 Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 So I came across this plastic oil container, so I made a bracket and and drilled some holes to mount it to the frame and drilled a hole in the center for the gas cap. Put in a duel pingle and it came out pretty good I think. 611DM Quote
Talltim92 Posted February 16, 2013 Report Posted February 16, 2013 What's the capacity of that? Will plastics fit over it ok? Looks pretty big! I hate how bad banshees are on fuel Quote
James_21 Posted February 16, 2013 Author Report Posted February 16, 2013 It's about one gallon maybe a little less, I like it due to it gives me more room under it to change plugs and stuff like that. I don't need much I hill climb my bike. Yes the plastics fit around it just well. 611DM Quote
Talltim92 Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 Very true gets pretty right changing plugs, cool man best of luck! Quote
trickedcarbine Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 Kinda cool, some guys are paying a lot of money for a little aliminum tank that doesn't look much different Quote
James_21 Posted February 17, 2013 Author Report Posted February 17, 2013 Yea, that's what gave me the idea for this. Same concept as those and it was free to make as well. 150-200 for a tank is a little much for me. 611DM Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 It took me a while looking at it to realize that it's clear. I thought it was aluminum. Quote
James_21 Posted February 17, 2013 Author Report Posted February 17, 2013 Just the cover is aluminum, that container used to hold oil for a cnc machine and was being thrown out So I snatched it up. 611DM Quote
