Z400Banshee Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 I have 2 flywheels. 1 has a bad key way that is junk now and the other has a slight rattling sound. I'm guessing it might be a broken magnet but it came off a running bike. Is it possible to replace magnets on these flywheels? Quote
dirtydownunder Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 No. You could probably drill them out and fit some rare earth magnets, but they are sided so you'd have to know which pole goes where. I don't think anyone has done this yet. Tho it is possible, just easier to get another fly wheel. Quote
