05 LE Shee Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Hey guys, I'm thinking about powdercoating my engine case while I have my bike fully disassembled. My issue is I am unclear on how much I need to remove from the engine b4 pc. Do I need to split the cases or can the motor be pc'd partially disassembled? I'm assuming they'll have to be split so just the case can be pc'd but I've never had anything pc'd b4 Quote
bansheefromhell Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 yes split them, you will have to replace all the seals, they would burn up while baking 1 Quote
Nieskes Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 Take it all apart untill you have just the two case halfs. Do it right or don't do it at all. 1 Quote
