carter Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 So was riding my banshee at river when I noticed it was leaking fluid out of bottom of left cylinder by front outside stud..after more inspecting I noticed it has a crack in it.. would that cause it to blow antifreeze out of over flow line and make my left pipe fill up with fluid..Thanks a lot in advance Quote

FullThrottle_06' Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 Cracked cylinder = NO BUENO. So to answer your question, hell yeah it would cause all kinds of bad shit to happen. Find yourself another set of cyl's and let her rip Quote
carter Posted January 29, 2013 Author Report Posted January 29, 2013 What cyclinders should I get. . The ones I had was dune ported I was told Quote
FullThrottle_06' Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 Being you have an oportunity for an upgrade, the selection of options are endless. Just depends on what style of riding you like to do and how deep your pockets are. you can find a good used set of stock cyl's or you can drop some coin and get aftermarket. Contacting a site sponsor would proabably be a good decision to discuss the possibilitys. F.A.S.T. Wildcard Racing, Redline Racing are all great people and would be be more than willing to give good advice. Quote

trickedcarbine Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 Maybe keep checking the for sale section till a stock set of cylinders pop up and have them sent to a builder to get ported. Hell you might even find a nice complete topend set up that you want that is done. Or maybe an aftermarket top end. Possibly a complete motor. Lots of options out there. The banshee is not dead and our aftermarket is only getting better by the day! Quote
