turbowrenchhead Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 I went to attach the clutch cover and there are two screws that are not holding. I don't want to have to replace the case. What do you guys do in this scenario? I was thinking about going to ACE and finding something a bit bigger and tapping it out to that size. Quote

sheerider11 Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Heli coil kit was $45 from the Auto parts storewith every tap and coil you'll ever need! You can find a quick fix kit for like 10 bucks. Comes with the tap and like 3 inserts and the insert tool. Quote
KozyHeat Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Local speed shop drilled, tapped, and inserted a cylinder stud for free. Buddy buddy it up Go to a local shop and tell them your situation that you were going to buy a kit but you just need two coiled. They might help you out on the cheap. Put that dab of loctite on too. turbowrenchhead Posted January 18, 2013 Author Report Posted January 18, 2013 I already have the kit and the loctite. I will just go ahead and do it. Perhaps this weekend if I get some spare time. Spare time is the biggest challenge. Quote
