Don't have any, so that side tracked me. I'm itching to get out in the dunes. Been a dream forever to go out there. Ordered some up today, should be in this week. I have been out there on busy holiday weekends and have never had a problem as long as ur bike is legit and ur not being a dumb drunk ass and acting a fool on ur bike u will be fine. So Cal Suspension Posted January 23, 2013 Report Posted January 23, 2013 I've been riding at glamis for 28 years and have never once been stopped by the rangers, or sheriff's dept. Nor have I ever heard of anyone getting cited for no spark arrestors. I just text my buddy who is a BLM ranger in Gordon's, and he said in his 14 years of employment with BLM, he has never written a spark arrestor ticket. Here are the 4 rules of glamis. Pretty much the only 4 rules. Register your bike with a visible sticker. Wear a helmet. Have a flag on your bike. Don't drink and ride. Quote

That sound right?? Yep, out of state registration is good. The way the law is written, is if you are "living" in the state of California longer than 90 days, you need to register your vehicle here. There is even another loophole around that. You can purchase a California Non-resident OHV sticker from several retailers around San Diego. One I know of for sure that always has them in stock is Off Road Warehouse. There are 3 in San Diego. One in Escondido, Clairemont Mesa, and El Cajon. I don't remember how much it is, but I think it's like $25-$30 and will make you 100% legit. It's worth paying for to avoid any future headaches, in my opinion. Quote
