bigtizzles Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 I actually found a thread with this exact title when I used the search function and I believe I got my answer. I was installing my chariot reed cages and the boot "stuffer" or whatever the hell it is won't let me install the factory intake because the rubber is made to go into the factory cage and my chariot cage won't allow that. Can I simply cut off the rubber so the intake will fit flush against my new cage? While I'm at it should I try to port the rubber out with like a dremel or something? Or would I be pissing in the wind? Quote

bigtizzles Posted January 11, 2013 Author Report Posted January 11, 2013 Ok, I cut it off. Got one side done, the bike ran a lean at WOT before the new reeds and cages so I stepped the main up one size. Gotta do the other side this weekend. Quote
