mk2dubbin Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 Wouldn't mind having a rear swingarm bumper if anyone has one laying around... Quote

mk2dubbin Posted January 9, 2013 Author Report Posted January 9, 2013 No, I mean the rear mx bumpers that would mount to the swingarm to protect the rotor and sprocket from a rear collision. They look like a big donut, lol. Quote
Hazzard Racing Customs Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 i know what your talking about i have never seen one for a banshee ive seen them on warriors though Quote

mk2dubbin Posted January 10, 2013 Author Report Posted January 10, 2013 ^ that's what I am looking for. Thanks for the picture reference. I have seen several of them for sale here and there but they are always sold before I find them. Quote
mk2dubbin Posted January 15, 2013 Author Report Posted January 15, 2013 I thought for sure someone would have one on here to sell me! Quote
Larry's Shee Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 might also be called rear nerf bar Quote
mk2dubbin Posted January 21, 2013 Author Report Posted January 21, 2013 Thanks, but they're $86 brand new from DG... They show up for $40-50 when I find them so I will wait. Thanks for the offer though! Quote
Starwriter Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Here's 1 on ebay. However, I was just thinking, there may be 2 different versions. 87-88 Banshees had 4 short mounting bolts for the carrier. 89 and newer had 2 long bolts. So, the rear bumper may mount in different locations, depending on the carrier style. The seller doesn't have any other Banshee parts for auction, so who knows where he got it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/yamaha-banshee-rear-grab-bar-bumper-/150985347794?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item23276d92d2&vxp=mtr Quote
mk2dubbin Posted January 30, 2013 Author Report Posted January 30, 2013 they generally mount to the rear skid plate mounts and to the swingarm link bolt, but thanks for the insight. i didn't know the older ones had a different carrier mount. Quote
