is this ok im worrying alot please help

No pics yet will do soon, I took the reed block out to replace reed and theres black stuff all around the cylinder block where the reed valve assembly sat in is this ok and how do I clean it is like a build up of black carbon any help would be great

Probably just the stock powder coating.

Almost looks like paint, is it sticky to touch or does it flake off? ya need to get dat shit out. Remove the jugs and clean with carb spray and a small brass wire brush. Prolly need to go through the bottom end now. Jmo

those are ok, that black is how they come from factory.

Its fine, mine and my friends 2 cylinders have that.

Imagine an automated painting machine in the cylinder process. Do you think they are going to individually tape off the intakes of each cylinder? No, they spray it on, dry it, then cut & tap the intake /reedblock surface after.
