vulvafan537240 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 is it wrapped around a plug wire or connected to the coil? Quote
IceAlmeida Posted November 10, 2012 Author Report Posted November 10, 2012 i tired wrapping it around the plug, wrapping it around both plugs..... and taping it along the spark plug Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 plug or plug wire? i dont see it doing anything by taping it to the plug. Quote
IceAlmeida Posted November 10, 2012 Author Report Posted November 10, 2012 lol i obviously read the instructions plug wire Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 is it grounded good? mine is taped to the plug wire, not wrapped around it, and it does fine. Quote
IceAlmeida Posted November 10, 2012 Author Report Posted November 10, 2012 its a voyager they only come with the red wire no ground Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 ahh ok. i have the old vapor. Quote
IceAlmeida Posted November 10, 2012 Author Report Posted November 10, 2012 ya man 3000 rpm at idle has to be like 1500 rpms off almost! Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 so theres no ground though? it has to ground somewhere. Quote
IceAlmeida Posted November 10, 2012 Author Report Posted November 10, 2012 the ignition sensor is a thin like 20 gauge red wire no ground Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 But the unit has a ground. Is it grounded good? Quote
IceAlmeida Posted November 10, 2012 Author Report Posted November 10, 2012 yup its going to the negative on my battery Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 It has to be picking up some interference from something. I don't run a battery and have the ground wire grounded to a bolt on the gas tank. Works fine for me. Quote
IceAlmeida Posted November 10, 2012 Author Report Posted November 10, 2012 i guess ill have to call those trail tech nazis Quote
