slowpoke36382
Hey guys i asked this question a while back but never really got an answer. I replaced my clutch basket ( with another stock one) and primary drive gear. In the clymer manual it says to replace these as a matched set. I just ordered them online and did not specify about matching them. Just installed it today and when you turn the basket it makes a clunk clunk clunk noise, the gears bottoming out against each other. Can anyone help me out here? Dicklez
so you replaced the big gear on the basket and the crank gear?
slowpoke36382
Yeah and it said to keep the same lash numbers. The new primary drive gear had like 90 written on it but the big gear on the basket I couldn't find a number. I haven't ran it in 8 months been rebuilding and it's my first banshee so I don't know that if it's moving fast you won't hear it but when you just turn it slow it definitely clunks.
