Idle gear bushing replacement

I heard a noise in the right side case and thought it might be the idle gear. Did some research on here and found out that was in fact the problem.

 

I took it apart and got the new parts.

 

My question is how do you get the old bushing out and new one in? I don't have a press so is it best to just take it to a shop and have them do it for me, or is there an easy way I can do it at home with out a press?

You can use a socket to drive it out. It really needs to be pressed back in. I use a vice to put mine in.

Ahhhh the bench vise, a poor man's press. Works good
