Rear axle spacer is it needed

Buying a new aftermarket axle and can not get the axle spacer of stock axle do I need a axle for my new dura blue axle. And it is stock swing arm

Yes you do need a spacer, otherwise you'll overload your bearings preload and wear them out prematurely.

I would recomend just buying a NEW spacer so you get maximum bearing life. My first set of axle bearings lasted for 6 years. When I replaced them, I reused the spacer and I put in 4 sets of bearings in 3 years time. I finally bought a new spacer and put in a new set of bearings with it and I got another 6 years out of that set. It turned out that my old spacer had wore slightly and was slightly shorter than the new one so I was sideloading my bearings and they were failing prematurely.

I make mine outa schedule 40 steel pipe. Forget the size though. Cut to fit.
