Dicklez Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 Easy springs huh. Why not just cut and stretch the stock ones?? I bet that is all the easy springs are. Quote
MarineNYC Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 Why don't you just cut a coil or 2 off? I cut 1 of my carburetors springs on my 35 Pwks. It sure did make it a whole lot easier to pull. Quote

Thats what I did, made a small difference, then I bought the Modquad extended thumb throttle and that made a world of difference! No more sore thumb! Quote

No more sore thumb! IF you wanna make an even bigger difference, spray some knockerloose in your cable at the throttle end and blow it in with an air nozzle. Lubin the cable reaaaalllly helps. Quote

Fastassbanshee96 Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 I had the easy springs on my 35pwk a/s and after hanging the spring one time, cause they were real tight going on, I cut 5 coils off my stock ones and it's perfect. Feels just like the easy springs of not a little lighter. Quote
ATVridinMaNiAc Posted August 30, 2012 Report Posted August 30, 2012 5 Coils damn...im thinking about doing this, i just recently got new oem springs in my stock carbs and there hard to pull i might cut them. Quote
