its prolly not the axle the sprocket hubs splines are prolly worn thats what usually happens. i have a couple mint ones off 2004 40$ shipped to canada will fix your problem. also have a set of bb shearers if interested.

They are NIB perfect mint condition never been mounted. I have had a few ppl wanting them I'm just waiting to see what my best off for them I going to be. These are basically impossible to find in this condition. They are mostly a show piece lol
