NitroTate
I have a set also still with the guards on them. What is the condition of the Boyesen's?
Bansheeb0y5505
To be honest I don't know. I've been having problems tuning my bike to run properly and ive been going off my friends and my fathers who both have identical mods and stock reeds. So im just copying their setup piece for piece. Cages (the rad valve itself) are perfectly fine, if anything id change the peddles on them. Don't know if they're good or bad, but my banshee runs with them. it runs strong until it warms up then sputters bad down low and fouls plugs. So more or less I just want stock reeds on like my friends bike and then mess with the tuning. I don't know if the odd shape of the rad valves is throwing off my tuning or not. troyzstang
Have you swapped out cages to identify the problem. If dad has a set of stockers swap them out and go for a ride.
NitroTate
Yeah, that's a quick way to find out but either way if you want these I have them and I would like some Boyesens anyway. Just PM me.

I was reading your post....I think you might have an air leak..
Bansheeb0y5505
I just need time to diagnose everything.. unfortunately time is something I don't have with two jobs and an expensive car..
thesoultaker2117
Sounds like a pilot jet problem to me. If its warming up and fouling the plugs....could be an issue with to much fuel on the bottom. Swap needles or pilot jets to tune it in. If anything id think the cages would help with your issues. Other possible causes could be a coolant leak.
