WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 Mine also seems to like the shearer pipes. It had cpi's on it before and just going on seat of the pants riding, it has more in the mid and top with the big bore shearer's. Jared Sounds like your experience is matching my playbook. Glad someone with a similar set-up is seeing the same results I did. Now I just have to talk you into dynoing that bike so we can get a baseline of what you motor is making power wise. Quote

I actually have a good friend with one of those trailer-mounted dyno setups. I just never have time available when he's around so we could dyno any of my stuff. - Jared Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 How do you think your new 485 stacks up against your other past motors? Quote

10milmike Posted June 13, 2012 Report Posted June 13, 2012 I have a 535 with mat's big bore pipes. Bike on race gas makes 114 HP 56 foot pounds of tq. These motors have to be set up correctly. When set up correctly they scream. Be ready to spend money because the pistons are expensive. Call Tim at Titan Racing and have him cut your domes. Good luck!! Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 So I Stop at Trinity On tuesday, I was having a problem with my Cheetah Head on my 535, it was leaking out the bolt holes and around the dome. I was inside talking to Joe he said he would talk to Harry about fixing it. So we went out side to pull my bike off the truck and I had a flat tire. Joe want out of his way to help me fix my flat. Thanks Joe, so I was waiting for Joe to call me about my bike. He called me back And Harry is going to fix my bike free of cost. See they do take care of there customers. All I can say is Thank you, I have been dealing with Trinity for awhile now, and this is the kind of stuff that makes me go back. Thanks again Harry and Joe.. Trinity u guys rock, see u guys at the sand show in Sep. What happened to the awesome Trinity motor? Titan Racing......get new domes...... Why does that ring a bell? I think I heard that before somewhere. Now if I could just remember who...... Quote

If you read that post I said they have good customer service. Never said they built my motor. Would never let them build my motors. Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 I stand corrected. Well at least your dealing with the guy who does a great job with those 535's. They do run a lot better than the 4 mills. When did you get that motor dyno'd? Not bad on gas. Quote
