dave5.0 Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 im pretty good at tig aluminum. i just get ideas of shit to do everytime i look at my bike, i always think its missing something.... and i trail ride quite a bit and when i get in the tight twisty turns and shit it would get really hot. i hated having to stop the whole group to let my bike cool down. i build those cool boxs for like 100$ but i have a lot of time into doing them. i made my skit plate also, if i can make something, usually ill give it an attempt before i buy one. Hey outa curiosity, do you already have a coolhead, billet wp impeller, and or an inline finned cooler? Quote

My shees rad had a hole in it when i got it so i immediately repaced it with an ebay 40% bigger and according to my trail tech vapor im never any higher than 185'ish.But you probably have more mods and make more power which makes more heat. Im curious about the box though can you post some more pics of what it looks like and the entire setup? Not a fan of the pvc tube on the rear but the box idea sounds neat.How does the fan idea work with your box?I agree if this is soundand solid 100 bucks sounds good even if i dont need it now i will later. Not a fan of the pvc tube on the rear but the box idea sounds neat.How does the fan idea work with your box?I agree if this is soundand solid 100 bucks sounds good even if i dont need it now i will later. my mods now are the following on a trail bike: dune play port, 65mm cylinders with pro lite wisecos, 28mm carbs, pro flow filter and adapter no lid, milled stock head (or cool head 19cc) depends on which i run, stock radiator, billit impellar, +5 timing,vf2 reeds, billit clutch basket, stright cut gears, welded crank, fast racing clutch, 15/40 gearing. i mean 180 on tight trails is fine with me.
