Sandworks Posted May 27, 2012 Report Share Posted May 27, 2012 Put new pedals on, took the bike out for maybe a total of 30 min, and quit running on one side. Found out its the reeds on the right side. First the screws where working out and the center part of the reed carrier was working itself back towards the carb! Wtf. Starwriter Posted May 27, 2012 Report Share Posted May 27, 2012 With VF2s, the back side (carb side) of the cage needs to be against something or the center part will push out. You need the VF2 gasket that has a smaller square hole in it and you need the reed cage to be against the intake.
