Hey all, new to this forum. Been riding for over 20 years. Had a 01 Raptor built a few years back, sold that and got a 700, sold that and have a Rhino now for the family

.

Still got the itch to go fast and i am looking to buy a Banshee in the next Month or so.

I ran a search and didnt find much. Got a question as what to look for when looking at a used Banshee. I know the oblivious, frame, axle bearings, shocks, general abuse, etc. What else motor wise should i look at? Should i do a compression test or just check the plug color and see how it runs? What else should i look at guys?

Thank you!

(Dont flame me for my username, i just try to keep the same one for all forums)

Yes do a conpression test....after a fresh rebuild (depending on elevation) you should be kicking around 120ish psi. Look for things like chain whack, bent sub frames, and the usual wear and tear. Try and get as much info as you can on the bike.....and it WILL be cheaper to go ahead and find a banshee that has pipes and a few mods already. No sense in spending 3x extra buying all the parts new. Also you want to make sure the guy has a title.

Put up a few ads that you find online and we can take a look at them
