flyn_10 Posted May 14, 2012 Report Share Posted May 14, 2012 Ok guys need help ive got a 421 cub shifting problems from 3rd to 4th and so on while drag racing ive adjusted the shifter rod that goes to the shift star. Maybe its time for some transmission upgrades... best route to go if you do nothing but drag race would be an override. If you still occasionally dune ride then you want a modded stock trans. ticktock Posted May 14, 2012 Report Share Posted May 14, 2012 Thumbs up Jared. You can do a modded star and shift shaft. If you do those two mods together then you shouldn't do the EZ spring or the roller bearing mod on the gear selector arm. Also the drum mod bearing. Make sure you do a pancake bearing.
