xjmav Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 Just a feeler. Don't know if I want to sell but a little wild for my current set up right now. Willing to trade for stock top end + some cash. I don't know much about these heads. Very agressive porting, tripple exhaust port was told they are trinity heads. Just repaired the threads ready to go could use boring. Sitting at 66mm Quote
xjmav Posted May 6, 2012 Author Report Posted May 6, 2012 Looking for trade plus around 150 cash, or 475 plus shipping Quote
willardwright59 Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 take pics of the sides etc. those look like athena cylinders. i sold a set on ebay about a month ago, with wiseco pistons. for only 350$shipped. if theyre athena, then it will say it on the side. for just cylinders id say you could get 150$ expecially if theyre stock and bored to 66mm Quote
quadpro26 Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 pretty much need resleeved. looks like stock cylinders bored to 66mm Quote
xjmav Posted May 6, 2012 Author Report Posted May 6, 2012 pretty much need resleeved. looks like stock cylinders bored to 66mm Yes they are stock, other than the tripple exh and porting as far as i know. I bought the bike off of cl knowing i was getting into a bit of a project. From what im hearing these will be a hold onto your ass ride. I dont have money for new carbs and just purchased k&n pods for the stock carbs and i dont think they will do these jugs justice. Im wanting a bike with a little more low end grunt for trail and dunes, my wife will be riding it occationally too, and im worried that these will be nothing but top end. I can put it together and run them the way they are right now but they could use a boring soon. Quote
BigRed350x Posted May 6, 2012 Report Posted May 6, 2012 You don't have to sleeve them, just send them to millenium and get them plated. - Jared Quote
sprinklerman Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 Is the sleeve cracked by the left-hand Boysen port that was added? Or does it just look that way? Quote
xjmav Posted May 8, 2012 Author Report Posted May 8, 2012 A far as I know no, however I'm checking to make damn sure. Quote
