Yes they are the same thing. A serval cub is a cub with slightly different port heigths and suited for a little lower operqting rpm. Same thing when ported. Which is faster a stock cylinder drag ported or a drag ported stock cyl? Same thing.

It was explained to me you can make a serval a cub, but you lose everything you asked for in a serval. Torque + power. Cubs have power and RPMs but a lot less torque/lowend grunt.

 

If you want a cub you buy a cub.

look its like this. if you buy a truck with a 5.3 and a camaro with a 5.3 which one will be faster? which one will haul your shit around better? can the truck be as fast as the camaro well yea. but it takes More money to do it. and after your done if you were wanting to build a ride for speed the camaro would be better and if you wanted to build a ride for hauling shit well the truck would have been better..
