MyNameIsMud Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 We have a salvage yard for atvs i just found out a few towns over and i was reading that the 28-33mm carbs are better. Do the carbs have to be banshee specific?If not what can i get carbs off of? I called the guy he has everything from mopeds to personal watercrafts and anything in betweem said if i knew what i needed i was free to come by and rummage. What do i need to look for? Quote
vulvafan537240 Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 what mods do you have? 28's are good for stock portwork. any 2 stroke carb will work as long as you have the intake boots to match them, but you dont want to over carb your bike ex. 35's on a stock motor. Quote
Starwriter Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 About 2000 and newer kx85 and kx100 dirt bikes come with a keihin 28mm PWK. Might be some other 85 and 100 dirt bikes that use the same carb. Quote
MyNameIsMud Posted April 30, 2012 Author Report Posted April 30, 2012 My mods are T5's,K&N,and boysen reeds for now. Im looking at agressive trail porting and an aftermarket head as we speak. Will these carbs have to be modded for the chokes to work the way the stock carbs do?Or will i have 2 seperate chokes? Quote
