slktrik Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Can someone tell me what is the largest overbore that can be done on a stock banshee cylinder. Also can you sleeve them? Think it is time due to low compression but want to reuse because of port work already done. bore I believe was 100 over last build. Thanks Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 .010= 64.25mm .020=64.50 .030=64.75 .040=65.00 .050=65.25 .060=65.50 .070=65.75 .080=66.00 .090=66.25 .100=66.50 Yours at .100 are paper weights now. Display them on the shelf proudly, they had a good long life. Don't even bother with a re-sleeve. You can fine low bore cyls all day long here for fair prices. Even ported ones. Quote
sheerider11 Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 HOLY SHIT! You cant reuse that. If you want get it resleeved, your still gonna have to get it ported regardless. Quote
BigRed350x Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 If your .100 over cylinders run good and have good porting, send them to millenium and get them plated and run them! Jared Quote
slktrik Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 Thanks for the input. The news is what I expected. The porting was done by Herr Juggs and yes was very impressed with the gains thus the reason I wanted to keep it. Thanks for the input, helps me out. Quote
