I thinks that's bull... I've had my chain for 5 years (since I bought bike new) and all I do is wd before I ride, and after wash. Never any probs! wd doesn't degrade anything, people spray it on everything. Hell, if u want shiney...it works better than any tire shine. Coat all plastic and rubber with it, and wipe off excess. And it'll keep shit from rusting. Quote
Sandking Posted April 29, 2012 Report Posted April 29, 2012 I got 5 plus years out of my last oring chain and the WD40 thing worked fine for me also. I didnt do it that often either. 100% sand riding in Glamis. I just replaced my chain with a DID xring chain for the hell of it. Quote
